Sinéad is the voice and reincarnation of Renée Falconetti, I’ve always believed that. There are other comparisons. Lana Del Rey (where have all the surgery gone?) now looks like a suburban Tracy Nelson, once the young singer with the hippie band Mother Earth. Both have warm, plain and pretty faces – and both have the most remarkable, powerful white voices of their era. In between these decades, it was Sinéad who possessed the strongest voice. Three completely different singers, though.
